Student Researcher from the Junior Academy department of the New York Academy of Sciences. Every year, students with a passion for STEM are selected to participate in The New York Academy of Sciences' research challenges with other like-minded peers.

ALICE is the group responsible for the project "ALICE - Augmented Learning and Intelligent Companion for Education".

Cyber Solvers was created as a project for The New York Academy of Sciences' Junior Academy program. Our goal was to develop a solution to address cybersecurity threats related to personal computing devices like smartphones, tablets, or laptops. Our solution for that challenge was to "create an open-source browser extension that can identify and prevent people from falling for scam links, phishing websites and trojans sent via emails, also determining whether the sender of an email is official", in which we were incredibly successful. Metacity is a game made in Python (the part that I was responsible for) that features a cyborg fighting over robots in a futuristic city. Each time the main character kills an enemy with his sword, a new horde of enemies appears on the screen, if the main character dies the game ends.It's a pixel-art stylised game with upperview gameplay. Me (José Victor Brito de Jesus), leaded by José Humberto de Souza Prates and along with some students from the Centro de Pesquisas do Colégio Leffler (CPCL) developed a scientific article on the study of physics using Artificial Intelligence "Ensino de física mediado pelo Machine Learning: O caso do pêndulo simples" (https://doi.org/10.1590/1806-9126-RBEF-2023-0207) in the journal "Revista Brasileira de Ensino de Física" in SciELO.
