Worked as a software engineer, developing games for casinos and other game rooms. I wasbrought into the company to help in the design and development of a common graphical framework/library for all the company’s games. When a new visual FX was needed I was the one to be consulted if it was immediately supported by our framework or to say what needed to be done. Depending on the complexity I would either fully develop it or assist in the development of it.Developed a “level editor” in order to minimize games’ production times.The games even though written with Microsoft’s Visual C++ they use Microsoft specifics as little as possible in order to be as portable as can be. For rendering DirectX 9 in Fixed Function Pipeline mode is wrapped inside our own framework so that it can easily be replaced with other technologies (eg. OpenGL, GDI etc).As an "exercise" and not an actual product, have ported most of the company's games to Adobe’s flash platform using ActionScript 3 in order to be playable over the Internet.
