My passion for sustainability and mechanical design stems from my studies in Mechanical Engineering at Cal State University, Northridge. Hardware skills include Arduino, Raspberry Pi, as well as CAD software skills such as Solidworks, Matlab, Revit, Fusion 360. My experience with my senior design team gave me the opportunity to apply these skills to an intensive interdisciplinary project to create a 100% sustainable, water-efficient and solar-powered home. A plumbing system was designed and modeled by the plumbing and water efficiency team that distributed water efficiently throughout the house. The home will be constructed and displayed at the Orange County Sustainability Decathlon in 2023. The opportunity to broaden my career path as a Mechanical Engineer requires not only the application of my technical skills, but also my effective communication and interpersonal skills.
