All software and digital development should be based on the basic process of Think it, Develop it, Release it and Improve & Release it until the day you need to Retire it.Software development and digitalization should be a continuous process that should be focused on continuously delivering software with business value and not by focusing on project budgets or hitting project end dates. It is essential that you have stable product and development teams with software developers, interaction designers, operations professionals as well as business representatives and end-users in order to build systems that users really want to use, and not only should or must use. I strongly believe that individuals are more important than processes and I think value based cultures are a must for creative and innovative work. I believe that software development is part mathematics and problem solving, part craftsmanship and part collective improvisation. I have a Masters degree in Computer Science from LTH (Lund, Sweden) and I have been working professionally with software development since 1992. Healthcare and information systems are my main areas of expertise. I like stuff like Eiffel, Python, Linux, REST, noSQL, API:s, Free Software and the KISS principle. I have contributed to open-source projects and have managed a few smaller ones.
