Born in Istanbul, in1984.After getting her diploma in economics, she decided to change her path towards something creative. She attended Lasalle International Academy for a future in fashion design. Upon graduation she started working in a textile company for creating a new brand.In 2010 she created her own knitwear label, made of garments that are not to be found in many places which has a quirky unique style. She named the brand after one of the mostly used knitting techniques "Knit 1 Purl 2" as in Turkish "2 Ters 1 Duz". She's showed both knitwear label "2Ters 1 Duz" and "İpek Arnas" collections at “İstanbul Fashion Week”.In 2012 she represented Turkey at International Woolmark Prize Competition.She designs basics with an avantgarde style.Takes inspiration from a love of travel,art, culture and fashion.Besides her collections she's preparing capsules and collobrates with brands and manufacturers. She gives consultancies about look developments, designs collections for corporate companies.
