My lab conducts research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, mobile health technology, and women's reproductive health. Our work addresses a critical need in healthcare: leveraging patient-generated data to improve the understanding and treatment of conditions like endometriosis, fibroids, and chronic pelvic pain. Currently, we are focusing on:- Bridging the data gap in female reproductive health through comprehensive digital patient profiles and augmenting traditional data sources like EHRs- Investigating the relationships between symptoms, personal factors, and disease progression- Developing disease-specific measures and statistical models to analyze complex, longitudinal patient data from mobile devicesInnovative approaches in these areas have the potential to transform diagnosis, treatment, and patient outcomes for millions of women worldwide.
