Following the acquisition of CBL Technology by Vega I was responsible for the management, operation and financial performance of the newly formed commercial division.The commercial division delivered e-learning solutions to banks, retail, telecomms, engineering and higher education sectors.

Initially I was responsible for dissemination and application of the instructional design theory established during research in the TLTP programme.This led on to a role as a senior instructional designer coupled with responsibilities for project management of e-learning programmes to the higher education, retail and finance sectors.

Working within a consortium of 15 universities throughout the UK I was responsible for the research and development of innovative techniques applying technology in the e-learning environment for higher education.Key areas of research included the extension of traditional techniques supported with real time systems simulation.

Started as an electronics/mechanical apprentice and progressed through college and university to become an elecronics systems engineer.Worked on various naval, cival and army radar systems predominantly in design and development of electronics for data and image processing.
