I've been involved in technology since the days of BBC Micros, ZX Spectrums, dot matrix printers and modems that went beep-bzzzzzz-bing. Some people won't remember those things, but having grown up with technology its given me a unique skillset and deep passion to create, to innovate and to connect.All aspects of technology interest me, from networks to programming, to computer vision to machine learning. Throughout my years I have been involved with all sorts of projects and gained more experience than most thanks to the diversity of my interests.In 2008 I co-founded Gourmet Pixel after 10 years in an enterprise environment, then 4 years in a startup which I drove from humble beginnings to successful buyout and exit.Gourmet Pixel started as an outlet for our creative ideas and developments on the iPhone, and has since become a thriving boutique app development studio.Our clients include AVON, Rolls-Royce, Wolfgang Puck, Virgin Limited Edition, EA, Haynes Publishing, Evo Magazine, Audi and ShakeAway.Specialties: Mobile app design, mobile app development on iOS, Android and Windows platforms, backend server development, API integration, innovation in mobile software and experiences and a deep knowledge of all things mobile.Outside (and sometimes inside) of working hours, I will often tinker with leading technologies such as virtual reality (Oculus Rift, Vive, Google Cardboard and Zeiss VR One), augmented reality (Microsoft HoloLens), bluetooth, robotics, Arduino, Raspberry PI and app based feedback and control systems.
