This Java REST service backed by MongoDB served all product content as fast and reliably as possible to many applications in the bol.com IT landscape, including the webshop. My team was also responsible for keeping all product catalog data up-to-date on our Hadoop big data platform, as well as producing insights into product content enrichment through various Hadoop jobs.
