I have played a key role in the success of the Intramurals Department at my university. In this role, I have managed a diverse roster of 42 Officials and Supervisors, conducting hiring clinics for more than 100 applicants.In addition to my hiring and supervisory responsibilities, I have also been responsible for handling finances of the Intramurals department. This has involved creating and managing budgets, overseeing purchasing and procurement processes, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.Through my experience, I have developed a keen eye for detail and a strong analytical mindset, which have allowed me to effectively manage resources and identify areas for cost savings. I have also developed exceptional leadership and communication skills, which have been instrumental in supervising and scheduling student employees in various roles, including Operations Specialists, Intramural Supervisors and Officials, Club Sport Supervisors, Facility Supervisors, and Member Service Attendants.As part of my commitment to professional development, I facilitate staff trainings each semester and monthly staff meetings, ensuring that everyone is equipped with the latest industry knowledge and skills. Additionally, I oversee scheduling of Intramural competitions, programs, and events, leveraging my organizational and time management skills to ensure that each event runs smoothly and successfully.Beyond my role at the university, I have also served as a Student State Leader of CT/RI for NIRSA and have attended and helped in the Regional State Conference. This has allowed me to build a strong network of industry contacts and gain valuable insights into industry trends and best practices.Overall, my experience as a Student Manager has equipped me with a diverse skill set, including leadership, communication, problem-solving, financial management, and organizational skills. I am eager to bring these skills to new challenges and opportunities
