I am director of IQ Fire Solutions, undertaking contracts from various companies for fire detection, installation, commissioning and on-going maintenance.I have gained experience and skills since 2001 in various fire protection disciplines at both operational and senior management level. I initially undertook a two-year apprenticeship programme with the ADT scheme, after which I qualified as an engineer, covering servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems. These ranged from conventional systems to analogue addressable networked systems and gas extinguishing systems. I was then promoted to technical support engineer, which involved commissioning large network systems with complex cause and effects, graphic systems and supporting engineers with technical issues.When I set up IQ Fire Solutions in 2008 it was with the aim to provide the best fire solutions at the highest standards while creating a safe environment for employers, employees, customers and visitors by fully protecting their premises.
