This allows Service Providers to monetize their assets in new ways, and enterprises to easily embed mobile intelligence into a diverse range of applications.Worked with wireless operators, MSOs and enterprise customers in pre-sales and post-sales engagements to execute design of custom integrated solutions.Managed Aepona's technical relationship with a large global networking equipment company for API Monetization Platform (AMP) licensing. Aepona added custom components complementing partner's hardware/software for streaming mobile video. Led the engineering delivery management of secure credentialing and biometric identity management solutions, such as driver licenses and other secure identifications, for international and commercial markets with a team of system engineers and integration engineers.Worked with the US-based engineering team for the implementation of a customized biometric driver license system, and managed the in-country installation of hardware and software for the federal government of Nigeria. Worked with the country's federal authorities and local consultants to start producing secure biometric driver licenses for the general public in several states.- Found innovative solutions to various challenges in the new market. For instance, diagnosed end-to-end secure communication failures due to low-bandwidth high latency satellite communication links between the central biometric repository in Abuja and field license offices in various states, and worked with the engineering team and in-country satellite service provider to implement a solution.

Created technical strategy, product architecture, technical and functional specs for a VC-funded startup focused on legitimizing communications. Using outsourced development resources, rapidly implemented fully functional Smart Phone SMS client prototype operating over a major US mobile network to send & receive messages with the legitimization stamp. As GM of Integrated Multimedia BU was responsible for: FastCall call control, Phone Notes IVR platform, ScreenCam, Telephony OneStop, Wireless Gateways and Video Notes.Working with Lucent defined product and managed integration of Lotus Notes & Intuity Audix VM for unified multimedia messaging system. Lotus Telephony OneStop allowed access to all email, fax and voice messages from Lotus Notes GUI or phone TUI. It was one of the first truly unified messaging products on market when shipped in 1996.Architected very successful Lotus Notes Pager (wireless) Gateway. Developed with limited budget, it generated $1M in 6 months. Under extremely tight deadlines in spring 1988, successfully led team of 12 engineers to implement demonstrable system with two live market data feeds, resulting in $10M order for hardware & software at Bankers Trust Co., London (now part of Deutsche Bank).Managed teams of developers and QE’s to design, implement, and test the highly complex DECtrade system for the new dealing room network to support 250 trading workstations. Bankers Trust's Broadgate dealing room system went live for trading on Dec 4, 1989, with 6 different digital data-feeds across 18 data-feed servers. The system worked reliably, and led to additional installations for Digital.As Senior Software Engineer, worked on a number of projects for client groups within Digital, including process control system to manage composition of Nickel-Iron plating bath for thin film disk head manufacturing, VAX/VMS driver for LN03 laser printer with Adobe, computer room environmental control system, and device driver for Allen Bradley microVAX module to replace PLC for industrial control and automation systems.
