The main role of CSA is to serve customers with a positive and friendly attitude, ensuring they have the best shopping experience. Another aspect of my job role is to handle and sort cash accurately. My job role requires me to process cash and card payment illustrating skills and traits such as accuracy and being trustworthy. In addition to this I am responsible for replenishing the shelves when required. As one stop is part of the Tesco brand high standards must be met regularly to maintain their reputation. The role of being a CSA Nights has many responsibilities from restocking the shelves at the end of a day to maintaining the cleanliness of the store and assisting customers when necessary. Being a CSA on the night shift one of my main responsibilities is to organize and tidy the backstock. This is critical to my job role as shelves will have to be replenished regularly throughout the day so a tidy and organised backstock will help my colleagues during the day with their job role and responsibilities. During the overnight shift a CSA would encounter numerous challenging situations that would require patience as well as good communication. Similar duties to my current employer had to be carried out daily however on a much larger scale. I left Tesco due to it not fitting my university commitments at the time. Show less
