I hold a master’s degree in Public Health and Biotechnology from UNC-Charlotte and Vellore Institute of Technology, India, respectively, and have a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification through Project Management Institute (PMI). I have worked at RTI since 2017 starting out as an analyst and transitioned into a project manager role since 2018 finally getting my PMP certification in 2020. My role as an analyst involved conducting quantitative and qualitative studies for large CMS evaluation projects. My current role as a project manager involves managing large CMS implementation projects. I have hands on knowledge about the new and trending project management software and techniques.Professional Roles and Responsibilities include:- Collaborating with projects stakeholders (internal team, sub-contractors, and client)- Communicating effectively with clients to understand client needs and define report deliverables, timelines, and any changes throughout the project lifecycle.- Assisting project directors and/or other members of the team in the development of plans and protocols for the project; contribute to the ongoing project work and modification of processes as appropriate.- Gathering, monitoring and submitting IRB documentation. Assess and compile Data Use Agreements.- Preparing and managing processes for budgeting (forecasting and tracking), timelines, technical documentation.- Having strong negotiation and interpersonal skills- Maintaining compliance with all organization policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and project specific requirements.- Coordinating and facilitating meetings, preparing agendas, and presentations.- Planning operations and implementation strategies, creating workflows for project activities- Managing and directing the activities of project staff and sub-contractors for project goals and tasks- Planning and directing schedules to achieve project goals and timelines from initiation through completion- Managing project financial performance with expertise in burn rate, forecasting and cost to complete analyses- Proactively assessing progress, vulnerabilities, and risks.
