Ira is a passionate creative with a lifelong love for creating. Coming from a family of artists, his burning passion for music and film developed from an early age, leading him to aspire to be an entertainer. It was during high school that Ira discovered his true passion for acting, and his dedication paid off as he won the state competition twice in Humorous Duet Acting.His success in high school boosted his confidence to pursue an acting career, which led him to Illinois State University, where he majored in Acting (Theatre). While at ISU, he had the opportunity to perform in the Main Stage Production of Sweat by Lynn Nottage and further refine his acting skills. Although he spent two years training at ISU, he made the decision to leave during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic.During this challenging time, Ira didn't let the lockdown hinder his creative journey. He collaborated with his brothers and a team of actors and producers to create a successful short film in his hometown, despite the limitations imposed by the pandemic. The film premiered at the prestigious Music Box Theater in Chicago, marking a significant achievement.However, as an unvaccinated individual, Ira has faced challenges in booking work on TV and film sets in Chicago, where vaccinations are often required. In response, he tapped into his musical talent and began creating music and music videos in 2022, providing him with a creative outlet even outside the TV/film world.Currently, Ira is focused on building his acting resume to secure more diverse and fulfilling roles. His unwavering passion for the arts, combined with his dedication and adaptability, positions him as a versatile and driven creative professional ready to make his mark in the entertainment industry.
