Ira is a past adjunct instructor at Kennesaw State University and Jacksonville University, where he taught financial planning courses for their continuing education programs. He also taught financial planning to employees of companies including CNN, Lockheed, Nabisco, and Phillips Electronics. Ira received an honorarium in 2002 from the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving, for speaking to an audience of parents of special needs children.He works with CPAs and accountants throughout the Southeast. He spoke at CPA chapters and associations including the New Orleans Chapter of the Society of Louisiana CPA’s, The American Woman’s Society of Certified Public Accountants of Georgia, and the annual convention of the Georgia Association of Public Accountants at Jekyll Island, Georgia.
