Actlabs Guyana Inc was awarded the contract of operating the on-site plant control lab. I was involved in all aspect of the project. This included design input, setting of lab equipment, stream lining all analysis such as sample preparation, fire assay of mine geology samples, composite samples from the mill, carbon assays, cyanide WAD, free cyanide and bullion analysis.

• I was employed at the Guyana National Bureau of Standards as a Technical Officer 1 in the Standardisation Department. While there I worked on several standards, namely Solar systems installations, Specification for hot-dip zinc coated corrugated steel sheets for general purposes, Specification for Galvanized steel barbed wire and Interim guidelines for Noise emission into the environment, just to name a few.
