Investors Mutual of Nueces dba Accounts Receivable Funding Corporation is a commercial factoring company working with small businesses to help alleviate their cash flow issues. Simply put, ARFC worked with business owners to manage their receivables from inception to collection. I held several roles within the company starting with sales and marketing and ending as the Vice President of Sales and Operations.Responsible for ensuring the consistent deal flow through the pipeline each month and responsible for managing the team of account managers and collectors.As the VP of Sales and Operations, I managed a team of account executives, collection managers, bookkeepers, credit analysts and legal assistants. I created a process for credit approvals and monitoring on new customers as well as managed credit reviews on existing customers. I directed and managed a team of inside and outside sales associates and was directly responsible for the hiring and training. I developed process and procedure for underwriting, credit approval, monitoring and collection on all accounts. In an average year, with the help of my team, I managed an average of 75-100 clients with upwards of 75,000 individual receivables across the client base. I helped to develop the processes for the efficient workflow of the company to ensure its growth and stability, manage company wide meetings, prepare reports for quarterly meetings with the board and work with the CPA on all-financial related reporting. I coordinated with the Director of Sales and Marketing to develop strategies to grow the business and run weekly sales meetings. Prior to taking the VP Sales and Operations position, I ran the Houston sales office, working the Greater Houston market and was directly responsible for bringing in over $150MM in new business. I specialized in working with small business owners and finding creative solutions to their cash flow needs.
