My role in the consultancy firm Tana was to assist in business development processes related to Danida, Sida, DFID and the UN, as well as in further development of Tana’s strategy and services. I performed various research assignments, analysis and development of country profiles related to economy, fragility, gender equality and social inclusion and other human rights issues. My main assignment was concerning the accountability in IDP settlements in Mogadishu in Somalia, incl. preparation of political-economy analyses, interview guides, summary sheets and research papers.

A student project in collaboration with Institut for Biologisk Medicin using qualitative analysis and ethnographic fieldwork to understand the relationship between health and religion among Danish Muslims. My research team conducted individual and focus group interviews, participant observation and cook-alongs with Danish Muslims to investigate how their health practices should be approached and communicated by Institut for Biologisk Medicin.
