As an Executive Function Coach at LifeFx, I play a crucial role in the program. I work one-on-one with our diverse student base, offering guidance, motivation, and accountability as they acquire new skills to improve their executive function capabilities.

• Working under supervision of Dr. Ka Ip, specific responsibilities included semester long fNIRS training as well as hands-on fNIRS training with NIRx expert. Working with Aurora fNIRS site, and wings to measure heart rate and nerve movement.• Creating a minority stress measurement with a wide variety of domains. There are lots of details and conscious effort that go into creating a semi-structured interview group.• Discussing possibilities for parent-child synchronization study, using a puzzle game. • Overall, have conducted multiple literature reviews, participated in journal club with graduate students, as well as presented on projects for the whole lab.

• Assisting Dr. Charisse Pickron with a multiracial families research project. Specific responsibilities including editing scripts, finding the optimal task organization, inventing engagement incentives for children during testing, as well as facilitating the first pilot participants and distributing the questionnaires before, during, and after sessions, I will be assisting with the analysis and dissemination of findings.• Assisted with the box task which attempts to understand individuation of facekinds. The participants for the study were 1- and 2-year-olds. After participants completed coding the videos for reaching/reaction time. Analysis and completion are going to be done very soon. • Supporting a collaborative, international study called MB4. Which evaluate 5-10 months old social evaluations of others’ actions as praiseworthy or blameworthy. Using Tobii Pro Eye Tracker, PsychoPy, and active coding to determine areas of interest and decision of choice.

• Interacting with residents by phone, email, or in-person to provide information that could assist them and ensure they enjoy their dorm experience.• Checking out items, receiving mail and labeling. Being able to de-escalate situations and ensuring the safety of the overall building.

• Leading fifteen incoming first year students around campus, encouraging attendance of seminars, and proving campus resources, and sharing personal experiences.
