• Leads BC Transplant’s digital strategy and manages BCT’s website and social media channels, including leading the development of content campaigns (content creation, storytelling, marketing, photography, videos) and advertising strategies • Leads the development of online and in-person community engagement strategies aimed at increasing organ donor registration, including several yearly organ donation awareness campaigns and targeted approaches to cultural communities across the province. • Supports issues management and media relations, writing proactive media releases/pitches, issues notes and key messages collaborating with PHSA corporate • Writes, edits and produces diverse communications (print, online and video), while ensuring overall quality, consistency and effectiveness of complex communication materials. Liaises with designers, printers, videographers and other suppliers.

• Identifies and supports key strategic initiatives; counsels the Provincial Executive Director and Provincial Operations Director in the development of strategies, messaging and reporting for government and media relations and stakeholder partnerships across the province • Represents BC Transplant at the provincial and national level on special projects as required and serves as the program liaison with the PHSA Corporate Communications Department ensuring alignment with PHSA’s strategic direction • Responsible for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to increase the number of registered organ donors in BC, and to increase public awareness and education of the value of organ and tissue donation, and the impact on almost 6,000 British Columbians who have received a transplant • Leads the communications team, supervises and evaluates the performance of team members and responsible for the annual budget for the Communications department and Organ Donor Registry
