Nothing lights my fire like saving lives from breast cancer. At Know Your Lemons, we turn breast cancer awareness into ACTION. As the leader in breast health education for early detection and the head of the World Breast Alliance, we empower people of all backgrounds to take charge of their breast health in an approachable and universal way, overcoming the traditional cultural taboos, language barriers, and censorship that has held back true breast cancer awareness for decades. We save lives TODAY. As our chief development officer, I have the privilege of funding our life-saving programs - including our award-winning Know Your Lemons app (in 5, soon to be 7 languages), our educational campaign, and materials (in 40+ languages), as well as our global educator program, where we have over 1000 KYL trained breast health educators teaching breast health in their communities in 70+ countries. And because we can't do this alone, I also oversee the World Breast Alliance, a multistakeholder coalition of nearly 80 patient advocacy groups, hospitals, screening centers, government health organizations, schools, and companies to educate with our best-in-class assets to help reduce late-stage detection and to implement the three pillars of the WHO's Global Breast Cancer Initiative.
