The Elektron magazine team was formed in 1992 with myself as marketing manager and the late Jack Yelland as managing editor. In 1999, EE Publishers was established with myself as sales and marketing director and Chris Yelland as managing director. EE Publishers has grown rapidly to include the award winning magazine titles EngineerIT, Energize, Vector and PositionIT, which focus on the energy, electrical, lighting, electronics, measurement, automation, control, computer, information, communications, geographic information science and surveying sectors of Southern Africa. Other activities include several highly successful conferences and exhibitions, as well as various other events staged for the sectors served by EE Publishers.
