As the Project Director, I directed and managed all aspects of the Storytelling Project, from the project backend creation to the adherence to budget, project scope and schedules, and timeline. I secured noncompetitive contract funding ($1M) for the Storytelling project for 9 years (2017-2026). Key Achievements▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬I led the Storytelling Project team through the Treasure Maps Roadshow project. a 5-city tour of a mini documentary film about Georgians with developmental disabilities. I produced a documentary film (release 2021), Hidden Voices podcast series (2019 & 2020), and led the team that collected 100 stories in written and photographic form. Also, I championed the gathering of stories from young people with disabilities in the nursing facilities and professionally packaged the stories to support the Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities advocacy effort in the 2019 and 2020 legislative sessions, leading to the continuation of waivers despite a 14% agency budget cut during coronavirus and restoration of 100 Medicaid waivers.

Resurgens Impact Consulting (RIC) is a group of nonprofit experts who work to connect ideas to funding and strengthen nonprofits' leadership. At RIC, we activate our clients' potential for transformative social progress and healing by strategically connecting them with funding, partners, and models. As the Co-founder and Nonprofit Consultant of Resurgens Impact Consulting I helped nonprofits secure over $75M in grant funding since 2016. I've collaborated with local and international nonprofits organizations, including Annie E. Casey Foundation, Atlanta Victim Assistance, the GA Council on Developmental Disabilities, re:imagine/Atl, L'Arche Canada, Community for Action Improvement, GA Asylum and Immigration Network, and L’Arche Atlanta to deliver excellent nonprofit consulting services. I assisted nonprofit organizations in building and maintain smooth relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and partners and collaborated with Executive Directors, Program Directors, Board of Directors, and community groups to create internal infrastructure and develop policies to guide their activities. I managed many federal grant writing projects and advise nonprofit clients to grow their internal organizational capacity and build leadership structure.

Strategic Funding Group (SFG) works with nonprofits to solidify long-term goals and research and create funding strategies so that nonprofits can focus on helping their members and those they serve. During my tenure as a Federal Grant Writer, I completed federal grant proposals for nonprofit agencies worldwide utilizing teleconferencing and video conferencing technologies. I worked closely with nonprofit organizations, missions serving veterans, the homeless, domestic violence survivors, people struggling with substance abuse, formerly incarcerated persons, healthcare, and sustainability. Similarly, I worked closely with the nonprofit organization responsible for child and human trafficking, teen pregnancy, and sustainability to addressed critical social issues.Key Achievements▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬Within a short period, I translated RFP requirements to programmatic structures and collaboratively built nonprofit programs grounded in evidence-based research and community need and desire. Leveraging my writing skills, I helped notable departments, including the Department of Justice (BJA, OVW, OVC, OJJDP), the Department of Health and Human Services (ACF, SAMHSA, HRSA), the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Department of Labor (ETA) to write grant-winning proposal and earned recognition for private foundation grant prospecting.

As the Project Coordinator, I created and maintained comprehensive project documentation and reports to ensure quality requirements are met as per the standards. Also, I led teams of nonprofit professionals, governmental agencies, and grant writers through the grant proposal creation process from conception to submission. I also showcased my communication and problem-solving skills by resolving issues and disputes involving all employees and communicated responsibilities, including writing, editing, and proofreading to grant writers, leading to process improvements and speedy delivery of projects.

StudentsFirst is a nonprofit organization building a national movement to uphold the interests of children in public education and pursue transformative reform so that America has the best education system in the world. StudentsFirst's grassroots movement is designed to mobilize parents, teachers, students, administrators, and citizens throughout the country and to channel their energy to produce meaningful results. As a political lobbying organization formed in 2010 by Michelle Rhee, former school chancellor of Washington D.C. public schools, StudentsFirst works to pass state laws that expand charter schools and reform teacher tenure. During my tenure as a Field Coordinator, I represented at neighborhood meetings, schools, and community events. Being a competent team builder, I successfully built and managed a volunteer base of 50 persons and two transformational teams. I registered as a Lobbyist at the GA General Assembly and worked closely with the Georgia team to implement the advocacy and legislative strategy by directly lobbying legislators and creating calls to action for StudentsFirst members. Also, I trained and motivated the StudentsFirst members to lobby their legislators directly.

I was responsible for receiving and summarizing all incoming communications to Rep. Kaiser's email, office phone, and mail. I also created a process for organizing and storing constituent information, communicating with other legislators and constituents, and ensuring timely delivery of important information.As the Legislative Aide, I briefed Rep. Kaiser on legislation matters by reading and summarizing bills and analyzing the bills' policy impact for upcoming votes.

The Georgia Appellate Practice & Educational Resource Center (Georgia Resource Center) is a non-profit law office providing free representation to indigent death-sentenced prisoners in Georgia who are in state and federal habeas corpus proceedings challenging their capital convictions and death sentences.As a Mitigation Specialist Intern during my second practicum year in graduate school, I assisted with numerous cases by providing research support, conducting in the field interviews with case witnesses, provided investigative support through the requesting of documentation from various governmental agencies, compiled and summarized case information, and attended court proceedings. I also supported the GA Resource Center's clients by maintaining a regular visiting schedule and connecting resources wherever possible.

The Feminist Womens' Health Center is a non-profit organization in Georgia that directly provides reproductive health services, while also protecting reproductive rights and promoting reproductive justice through organizing and advocacy.As a Community Engagement Intern, I co-led several trainings for volunteers and community members covering the topics of the legislative process in Georgia, the history of reproductive rights, and orientation volunteer training for community outreach volunteers. I updated the community partners and outreach yearly events calendar and represented the organization at community events. I co-led a focus group on Trans inclusivity at the center and in the community and drafted the results for the Board of Directors.

The Center for Black Women’s Wellness is a premier, community-based, family service center committed to improving the health and well-being of underserved Black women and their families.As a Family Support Coordinator Intern, I led home-visits and interviews with clients and assisted with the completion of Bio/Psycho/Social assessments. I collaborated on client goal planning and compiled family information resources customized for each client. I participated in supervision with all Family Support Coordinators, community meetings with the organization, and organizational-led trainings for clients.
