Working as a freelancer/independent contractor/consultant has been a great opportunity and has enabled me to work with a wide variety of clients including major marketing research consulting organizations, media organizations and Fortune 500 businesses. In some cases, I take on primary responsibility for the design and management of qualitative and quantitative projects involving consumers, business professionals and healthcare providers. When clients need less than full scale project management, I provide support by taking on some IDIs, pulling together a report, testing online programming – whatever is required. -- In order to help a client assess perceptions of a new treatment, I designed and administered a real-time survey of physicians attending an international medical conference and facilitated subsequent round-table discussions.-- Recently, I collaborated with a cross-functional client team at a major pharmaceutical manufacturer to develop and implement 20+ projects over a two-year period in advance of a new product launch.

Working in several managerial positions within GfK, I had the opportunity to:-- Lead the introduction and integration of quantitative research capabilities to a company offering exclusively qualitative research services, significantly increasing company revenue through collaborative business development efforts with qualitative consultants -- Oversee the integration of two business units consisting of managers, researchers and IT specialists following a corporate merger-- Manage a research group responsible for the design and implementation of global qualitative and quantitative market research studies on behalf of clients in the pharmaceutical industry

In the years I worked at Total Research Corporation, I went from an entry level researcher to VP, Managing Research Director, overseeing a large team of researchers and developing and maintaining customer relationships.
