As a Branch manager my role involves implementing an initiative that create positive and measurable impact for 1.2 million adolescent girls and young women and 9.5 million people across seven countries in East and West Africa, including Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Uganda. The programme has the following objectives:(i)To increase the agency and voice of 1.2 million AGYW aged 12-35 to make decisions and act on their aspirations (ii)To enhance community engagement, particularly of men and boys, to support and advance the empowerment of 1.2 million AGYW living in AIM programme areas (iii)To economically empower 1.19 million aged 15-3527 to engage in and benefit from decent and sustainable livelihoods (iv)To empower 1.19 million AGYW aged 15-35 to advocate for their rights (v)To create an enabling ecosystem where key stakeholders including policy and decisionmakers are supportive of the social and economic advancement of AGYW.As a Branch Manager i lead and oversee program implementation at the branch level, ensuring effective coordination, staff development, and stakeholder engagement.This role has equipped me with valuable skills in project management, teamwork, and collaboration. I have actively contributed to empowering marginalized communities through integrated development programs, including microfinance, livelihood, agriculture, and women's empowerment initiatives.My commitment to BRAC's mission of creating a world free from exploitation and discrimination drives me to make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve. -Successfully secured and won a grant from UNESCO APCEIU to implement a project focused on creating awareness among youth on global citizenship education in Tanzania.-Lead a team of 15 professionals in planning, coordinating, and executing various initiatives aimed at promoting global citizenship education among youth.-Collaborate with local partners, schools, and community organizations to deliver engaging workshops, training programs, and awareness campaigns.-Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum tailored to address the specific needs and challenges of Tanzanian youth.-Monitor project progress, evaluate outcomes, and make data-driven adjustments to ensure the effective delivery of the project goals.-Fostered partnerships and maintained regular communication with stakeholders, including government officials, educators, and community leaders, to maximize the project's impact
