My book "Shattered Stars, Healing Hearts: Unraveling My Father’s Holocaust Survival Story" is available on Amazon, and I'm honored to share that it's won multiple awards.I began researching my father's story in 2016 following the presidential election. As antisemitic and racist hate crimes increased across the United States, I felt compelled to better understand the events my father lived through in Germany and Holland as a young Jewish boy in the 1930s.So, I traveled to Germany, where my father was born, and Holland, where he escaped to—and hid— during the Holocaust. There, I met the grandson of the Dutch farmer who kept my father safe during the war. Together, we visited the attic hiding space. With each day that passes, it seems that my father's history is more relevant than ever. It continues to be my honor to speak to groups around the country about my father’s journey, with a focus on the eighteen strangers who saved his life.Before I was a writer, I was passionate about learning and helping others to do so. For over 25 years, EnVision has been partnering with all types of organizations to develop custom learning solutions. Much of EnVision’s success relates to effectively working with our clients, exhibiting agility with each project, and creating innovative approaches to addressing clients’ unique challenges. I enjoy creating trusted working relationships, which I continue to nurture and value.EnVision’s team now includes ten professionals, and together we’ve produced award-winning work for clients in industries such as healthcare, pharma, financial services, academic and not-for-profit, consulting, and government sectors. My job is challenging, no two days are the same, and I gain a great deal of satisfaction in helping organizations to create and raise the level of their learning programs.
