About Irene Van Der Schaar

Ik combineer brainspotting (David Grand) met ISTDP, wat ik geleerd heb van Shapiro. Brainspotting is een bijzonder effectieve methode om belemmerende lading op te lossen: spanning, angst, onzekerheid, frustratie, motivatieproblemen, somberheid, weerstand etcetera, zodat het fysiek uit je systeem verdwijnt. Brainspotting is ontwikkeld uit EMDR bij de begeleiding van topsporters.Hoe je het leven en specifieke situaties beleeft, wordt bepaald door eerdere ervaringen: positief of negatief. Deze ervaringen zijn grotendeels onbewust en niet te veranderen door anders te denken. Met brainspotting worden dergelijke onderliggende ervaringen opgespoord en razendsnel, fysiek verwerkt tot ze neutraal zijn of positief werken. De negatieve lading lost op en klachten en belemmeringen verdwijnen. Algemene bijwerkingen zijn meer rust, een betere verhouding met jezelf en anderen en een versnelde ontwikkeling in het hele functioneren. ISTDP is complementair aan BSP en geeft veel helderheid over emotieregulatie incl “afweer”; met de combinatie kom je er altijd bij! Ik werk met iedereen die van belemmeringen af wil en gevoel en prestaties wil verbeteren. Veel met hoogbegaafden en andere (potentiële) hoogvliegers (in topsport, werk, artistiek, muzikaal, hoe dan ook). Ook met ouders van kinderen die (dreigen) vast (te) lopen. Als een kind een vis is, zijn de ouders het water.
