Irene Y. is a Director of Operations at SoFi. She is proficient in Spanish. Colleagues describe her as "I have had the pleasure of working with Irene Yip for a few months, and she has demonstrated high levels of leadership, quick thinking, and problem solving skills. She has been more than beneficial to SASE UB by providing us with tips, guidelines, and external opportunities that will help the chapter grow. For example, she suggested that we reach out to the local high schools near the university in order to start a SASE Junior chapter. Establishing a SASE Jr. would foster a greater community for Asian heritage students, create more interaction between the university and the local community, and engage more students in developing leadership skills.
