I’m a husband, dad, and therapist. I consider it all a joy to walk alongside my clients to help them meet their goals with timely and verifiable outcomes. I work with clients who grapple with anxiety, depression, anger management, relationship struggles, marriage issues, sex addiction, trauma, psychosis, and grief. I view my clients as experts in their own lives and respect their autonomy. Though I treat people of all faiths or none, I integrate the Christian faith into counseling for those who request that perspective. I am an EMDR-trained therapist. I am an adjunct faculty member at Evangel University, teaching in the Masters in Clinical Mental Health program. The Missouri Committee has approved me for Professional Counselors as a licensure supervisor for counselors-in-training and provisionally licensed professional counselors in Missouri. The approval is based upon compliance with the rule 20 CSR 2095-2.021 Supervisors and Supervisory Responsibilities.I am a Certified SYMBIS Facilitator and a Certified Prepare / Enrich Facilitator.My counseling office is a shame-free zone where the client is free to heal, be whole, and face the future with dignity.
