Roles and Responsibilities- Network Operations of DWDM and SDH Netowrks- Preparation of FTTH/GPON Planning and Design Guidelines for OSP/ISP and technical detailed specifications for civiland cables including allied equipments, accessories and customer premises infrastructure in line with industry standards and ITU/IEEE, TIA/EIA & BICSI recommendations.- Vendor evaluation and optimization to conclude the competitive prices for affordable network. Preparation of annual RFP/RFQ. Performed evaluation (Technical & Commercial) for all FTTx & FTTH/GPON solutions/offers/responses and give recommendations for vendor selection.- Design and Dimensioning of FTTx networks equipments such as OLT, ONT, FDH/FDF, Splitters etc; Generate andreviews of SOW, MOP, BOQ for ISP and CPE’s.- Block wiring designs for both civil infrastructure and cabling connectivity for single family units (SFUS) and multidoweling units (MDUSs).- Provide research, telecom benchmarks and presentations for FTTH/GPON, FTTx/MSAN, ONT/MDU/CWDM etc;- Review PIP (Project Implementation Plan) submitted by multi vendors and recommending the realistic PIP in line with strategic plan and time line.- Performed GPON networks Acceptance Testing activities and commissioning of developed networks (PAT). Participate with NMS and O&M Group on PAT & FAT.- Quality checks and review of design work packages for civil and cable works.Key Successes- Stream lined the pending issues for GPON/FTTH design and implementation for 2010 projects.- Network Design and project management for 5,000 homes in year-2009 through GPON/FTTH.- Review, optimization, modification and recommendations of vendor’s solutions for GPON/FTTH (ISP/OSP).- Successful launch/roll out of Fiber to the Home-FTTH services in the year-2009.- Deployment of IP video security & surveillance system for DHA Lahore- Connecting more then 300,000 subs through video distribution network of more then 48 LLO/COs

Roles and Responsibilities- Work for CTO to support his projects analyzing cable networks for maximum network efficiency - Work with clients to gather, analyze and synthesize raw data from field visits, NOC reports and network maps- Ensure timely completion of design and construction projects, including adherence to specifications by coordinating activities, setting priorities and interfacing with system managers - Research support to investigate utility tariff structure and propose optimized tariff selections for cable networks and critical facilities Key Successes- Successful project management of client HFC upgrades for PmP Internet services- Propose and quantify efficiency enhancements at critical facilities (HUBS, remote headends, power distribution, critical power infrastructure) for 12 sites of 200,000 customers
