Irina Bubenko is a Knowledge Management Specialist of the Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Program for the Aral Sea Basin (CAMP4ASB), CAREC.She has a higher legal education and more than 10 years of experience in this field. Irina started work at CAREC in 2009 as a HR Manager. Since 2014, she moved to the newly created department "Knowledge, Projects and Resource Management Unit". And for the past 6 years, within the framework of the CAMP4ASB, coordinating the outreach and coalition building part, including holding an annual Central Asia Climate Change Conference (CACCC), conducting of MFA and parliamentarians’ meetings and unite the efforts of the Central Asian NGOs on Climate. Irina has significant experience in communication and outreach activities, organizing events, including international ones. She took part in the preparation and work of the Central Asian International Environmental Forum (CAIEF), the First Pavilion of Central Asian countries at COP-26 in Glasgow, and continues to working with national delegations in preparation for the COPs.In addition, Irina coordinates the direction of monitoring and evaluation of the project and conducts a systematic assessment of climate investments in the region in close cooperation with the National Coordinating Groups covering two countries: Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
