Experience in negotiating, writing, reviewing, summarizing, researching and executing a wide variety of agreements including purchase orders, purchase contracts, contracts for maintenance, repair, overhaul or third party vendor contracts, including emplyment agreements, real estate contracts, confidentiality agreements, and other general business contracts both domestically and internationally. Experienced in managing day to day operations, providing legal counsel, including conducting legal research for various legal matters such risk management and certain business decisions and providing effective advice on company strategies and their implementation, managing the legal function, and obtaining and overseeing the work of outside counsel. Past experience includes commercial and business litigation with a focus on construction litigation, lien and bond claims, contract law, business torts and real estate. Extensive experience in drafting and revising construction, sale of goods and employment contracts, assisted clients in perfecting lien and bond claims, and regularly defended and prosecuted those claims in court and through the arbitration process, assisted in litigation of quality of work claims, delay and labor impact claims, and non-payment claims. Experienced in alternative dispute resolution venues, including mediation and arbitrations through the American Arbitration Association.
