Irina co-founded and served as Communications Director of ICF Bulgaria - the local chapter of the International Coach Federation (ICF). ICF is the leading global professional coaching body - www.coachfederation.org.She has worked for establishing professional standards for the coaching profession and developing coaching at a world-class level in Bulgaria.The bigger vision of the co-founders was to develop coaching as an emerging profession in Bulgaria on a strong professional foundation, so that it has the best possible impact on business, healthcare, education, government, etc. and ultimately to support the prosperity of the country for the next 20-30 years. WIth the ICF Bulgaria team she did that through:1) Raising the awareness about the benefits of coaching within the business community first 2) Encouraging more people to get coaching certification and become professional coaches (external or internal in the organization) or use coaching as a management approach in leading their teams.

Establishing, managing and developing the business of the subsidiary of the UK communication consultancy Cook Communications on the Bulgarian market.As a PR & Public Affairs Director Irina consulted and led the communications in Bulgaria on behalf of leading defense companies like Rolls-Royce, Finmeccanica, Alenia Aeronautica, Saab, etc. in multimillion national defence tenders, including the fighter jet acquisition for the Bulgarian Air Force.
