A Facebook poll was designed where users had the opportunity to answer and win travel vouchers from Travel Matters UK, a certified social enterprise. The media product with social media content - "The Key is under the Mat" shows the everyday life of several Macedonian families, their and the experience of a young person who has short stay in a new family."The Key is under the Mat" consists of several episodes in which in each episode we follow young people as they go to live in another family. Participants in each episode spend few days in the new family. Participants and families have additional challenges/tasks, given by the production team, that need to be completed in the given episode.Through this specially designed media content,the Macedonian public has the opportunity to see the cultural diversity in the society, to identify and change existing stereotypes and to accept ethnic differences in a positive context.I am the author of the idea and co-script developer.In order this project to be conducted i wrote an application to an open UNDP call for delivery of TV Programmes For Development and Broadcasting of Social Content Programmes that Promote Cultural Diversity and Multi–Cultural Civic Identity,which got accepted and I was involved in all stages of the project realization. From drafting calls, to selection of participants, consulting social content experts, to writing scripts, filming, conducting video questioners with the participants, to post-production and review of content and targeted messaging of the show. Furthermore, I was responsible for the process of production of Youth Postcards: “Skopje through our eyes” which are creative visual stories for the city and the youth coming from different ethnic background. Other project activities included: Press Conference and Public Discussion for International Day of Youth and Summer Peace School for Dialogue - 4 days training on peace education and non-violent communication.The project was implemented with great success acknowledged by donor and stakeholders;and it gained great media coverage.The creative input that I provided for all of the activities (especially in the Postcards production)was recognized in the public and I am blessed to hear all the positive feedback.
