In November 2012 I was elected the Chair of Ad Hoc Working Group on Public Information Policy: I lead the team of international experts in charge of updating the Budapest Guidelines, a NATO Practical Guide to Public Information during a Crisis. Other NATO activities to which I contributed are the civil protection international field exercises coordinated by NATO Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC) - I was a Member of Directing Staff and I coordinated the Public Information and Media Play component (exercises Serbija 2018, Serbia, Bosna i Hercegovina 2017 - Bosnia and Herzegovina, Crna Gora 2016 – Montenegro, Ukraine 2015, - Ukraine Georgia 2012 – Georgia, Codrii 2011 – Moldova, Armenia 2010 - Armenia, Zhetysu 2009 - Kazakhstan, Uusimma 2008 - Finland, Joint Assistance 2005 – Ukraine, Dacia 2003 - România).
