Extensive experience in structuring, drafting and negotiating construction and operation documentation including EPC, EPCM, supply, installation, licensing, operation and maintenance contracts and reviewing the same to assess and address risks for equity investors and lender financial institutions.Experience includes advising: • Acciona Agua, Green of Africa and Afriquia Gaz on the development, financing and operation of a desalination plant in Casablanca, Morocco to supply 300 million m3 of water per year. Upon completion, this will be one of the largest desalination plants in the world and the first to be supplied by renewable energy • CDPQ on the acquisition, with investor Cathay PE, of a 50% equity stake in the 605MW Greater Changhua 1 Offshore Wind Farm in Taiwan • EDF EN (including during a secondment) on construction and supply contracts for the first major offshore wind farms to be constructed off the French coast: Fécamp (498MW), Courseulles-Sur-Mer (450MW), Saint-Nazaire (480MW) • a major oil and gas developer on drafting a suite of templates to use on offshore wind projects, including floating • EBRD and IFC on the financing of a photovoltaic solar plant in Armenia • lenders on the review and restructure of project documentation for the Baltic Chemical Complex polyethylene plant in Leningrad region, Russia • EDF EN on construction supply and service agreements for the 3x8MW Provence Grand Large demonstration floating offshore wind farm in France • RWE Innogy on the Galloper offshore wind farm, UK (504MW) • a developer on its bid for the Noor II and III CSP project, Ouarzazate, Morocco • lenders and ECAs on the Taza wind farm, Morocco • the owner on dispute resolution of claims from the Contractor and/or Operator on a number of onshore wind farms, both under construction and operational, in Morocco • Elia on the construction of the MOG (Modular Offshore Grid) in Belgium • a JV on the development of multiple rooftop solar projects in UK using social housing • Arctic LNG – 2, NOVATEK’s joint venture with Total, on the engineering, procurement, supply, construction contracts related to commissioning of an integrated liquefied natural gas facility in Western Siberia with annual liquefaction capacity of 19.8 million tons • Lukoil Uzbekistan operating company in relation to construction on the development of production, processing and transportation facilities for the Kandym gas-condensate field in Uzbekistan
