The Deputy Chief Financial Officer (DCFO) provides business leadership, including strategic and business planning, financial and business analysis, planning and decision support, indirect rate setting, cost management, project management and control, deployed business support, financial statements, research contract agreements, supply chain management and business systems strategy and implementation. The DCFO is also accountable for the compliance with applicable legal, governmental and regulatory requirementsThe DCFO is a key supporting role for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and assists the CFO in managing the Financial Planning and Analysis function, the Financial Reporting for the Laboratory and the operational responsibilities of the Business Management Organization. The position also plays a key role in the development and maturation of financial forecasting and planning systems. In addition, the position provides a key interface to the Department of Energy (DOE) finance function and the corporate infrastructure.
