• Supervise team's day to day functions• Complete team's semi-annual performance appraisals and provide monthly 1 x 1 feedback• Analyze and validate portfolio and benchmark returns for various fixed income strategies including core, core plus, high yield, emerging market, and global funds • Regularly interact with portfolio managers and analysts to communicate performance results and understand investment strategies and changing market conditions • Calculate and analyze monthly ex-post risk statistics (standard deviation, tracking error, etc.) • Work with internal technology groups and external vendors to enhance calculation, reporting and analysis tools • Anticipate issues that may adversely affect the ability to meet reporting deadlines, and take action to reduce the risk of occurrences • Cultivate relationships with internal and external partners and service providers • Oversee proof of internal returns to custodian banks, client calculations and attribution system results • Perform transaction level financial analysis of accounting data and evaluate its impact on valuations• Help develop departmental policies, guidelines and procedures for performance and asset reporting• Seek out and implement methods to improve current processes and create efficiencies in the calculation, validation, analysis and reporting work cycle• Work on various projects
