Overseeing all trip logistics for summer camp and leadership canoeing, backpacking, and kayaking trips. Providing orientation to the tripping program to staff and participants. Supervising Trips Logistical Assistants and Tripping Co-leaders. Hosting trips debriefs for staff. Assisting in responding to the trip call-in phone, providing insight and advice for situations happening in the field.

Traveling to recruit seasonal staff and summer campers, attending conferences, and conducting interviews for new staff members.

Supervised 12 staff members and 60 campers ranging from the age of 13-15 years-old. Maintained safe work environment by meeting regularly with staff and being available when needed. Lead training trips with the expectation of properly preparing staff to take children out on trail with risk management in mind, providing resources and anecdotal scenarios, and reviewing Camp protocol. Acted as the liaison between campers and parents by replying to emails promptly and making phone calls when necessary. Responded to the staff tripping resource phone in order provide assistance to staff in the field regarding route changes, behavioral situations, medical care, and gear concerns

Lead wilderness trips for St. Lawrence students in the surrounding outdoor areas. Some trips included rock climbing, over-night canoe camping, and other day trips. Was responsible for collecting equipment needed, meal preparations, and the safety of each participant.
