The municipalities of Duiven and Westervoort face the major task of being energy neutral by 2050. A Circular Economy program has been launched for this purpose, which also includes the tasking and ambitions in the field of the energy transition. The challenge is to further shape the program together with society, the business community and other stakeholders, with concrete objectives and targeted implementation in the coming years. A significant part of my work will take place within the Circular Economy program of the municipalities, consisting of the program lines: Energy Transition, Circularity and Climate Adaptation. Together with colleagues within the team, I will work on the Energy Transition program line and provide input to the Circularity and Climate Adaptation program lines.My primary tasks are:• Ensure the implementation of policy by translating the policy into concrete measures and actions • Contribute to the development of policy• Monitor and promote the connection of sustainability and energy issues with other policy areas in the organisation• Participate in (regional) forms of consultation or current projects and initiatives within the program • Maintain local and regional relationship networks• Involve residents, companies and institutions by organizing information meetings• Answer questions from residents and companies• Together with colleagues, ensure the implementation of the sustainability loan and the energy counter • Advise on external or internal initiatives and developments in the field of sustainability• Prepare advice for the board and advise on projects
