We are responsible for making sure the schedule is followed during production. Production planning control involves the organization of planning of the routing scheduling, dispatching and inspection. Controls materials, methods, machine tooling operating times. SAP tracks and makes a record of the manufacturing as process flows.Production Ordering is documenting what materials are needed and in what quantity.

Extract and derivatized samples calibrators and controls. Collect aliquoted specimen samples with appropriate calibration control for each GCIMS assay, vortex, centrifuge. Work safely with bodily fluids as well as biohazards chemicals. Accurately accessions and registers specimens for processing and testing.Maintains high quality and productivity as required by department.Follows designated procedures for labeling and processing; sort and deliver specimens to technical areas as assigned.Prepares solutions, reagents and supplies as assigned.Operates all necessary equipment in designated laboratory.Answers phone and paging system as needed.Follows College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements.Specimens are received and sorted with labels and barcodes to be processed.Communicate work schedules and ensure efficient coverage in the department.A physical inspection of the specimen is performed to ensure that it is is the correct tube and has not been damaged.Receive all open specimen bags.Enter inventory, patient demographics, and test codes into computer systemPrepare specimens for laboratory testing and analysisEnsure specimens and requisitions are correctly labeledValidate requisitions against specimens before scanning into the systemWill be responsible for cross-contamination potentialsMust clean and maintain all laboratory equipment.
