The Iris Group managed by Nicolas Steil, is an international production and distribution company with branches in Luxembourg, France, Germany and in Belgium. The Group has a strong integrated structure with production capacity on an international level and a recognized distribution and sales company, Rezo Films (FR) making the Iris Group a solid and long-lasting strategic player on the European cinematographic market. The origin of the Group dates back to 1986 when Nicolas Steil set up Iris Productions S.A as one of the first production companies in Luxembourg. He co-produced successes such as Illégal by Olivier Masset-Depasse (Cannes Director's Fortnight 2010), Maddened By Her Absence by Sandrine Bonnaire (Cannes Critic's Week 2012) Tip Top by Serge Bozon (Cannes Director's Fortnight 2013), Colonia by Florian Gallenberger (2015), Sunset Song by Terence Davies (2015), Bad Banks Saison 1 by Christian Schwochow (2019) and Saison 2 by Christian Zübert (2020), Temblores by Jayro Bustamante (2019), Never Grow Old by Ivan Kavagnah (2019)... Over the years, Iris Group has co-produced more than 100 films with French, Belgian, Swiss, Quebecker, Austrian, Italian, German, Dutch, English and Irish partners. Over the last few years, the group has also focused on the production of TV series. Today, Iris Group has produced and co-produced over 100 works, sold over 250 films internationally and distributed over 300 films in France.
