I am a 4th year undergraduate student at the University of Alberta studying a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree in Adapted Physical Activity. My current involvements include a volunteer position at The Steadward Centre where I lead participants through modified exercises and assist in adapting exercise programs for individuals living with impairment. I am also a member of UA-WiSE at the university, a committee focused on advocating for women and marginalized communities in STEM. My previous experiences in administration at Twin Brooks Physical Therapy Clinic has also introduced me to patient care and service delivery. As such, I am also experienced in clinic management and communications. Academically, I am looking to complete the PAW program this coming summer as an experiential learning component within my degree where I will be traveling to lead a play program for children abroad. Professionally, my prospective plan is to apply for physical therapy or medicine.
