Iris Lee is the Director of APAC Growth where she leads demand generation and brand awareness initiatives across the APAC market at Remote. With her previous leadership experiences in Diversity and Inclusion , she is passionate about her mission to help people understand diverse work models and environments throughout her career life. Being a remote worker for over 10 years with her various leadership positions in large enterprise IT companies, she strongly believes in the high value of work flexibility in hiring and retaining top talents without borders. Prior to joining Remote, she was Head of APAC Partners and Alliance Marketing ,Marketing Director for GEMs (Asian Growth and Emerging Markets) at Red Hat. During her tenure at Red Hat, she was selected by ALEP (APAC Leadership Extension Program) to conduct her project related to diversity and inclusion project for Women in communities and future women in IT. As part of the leadership program, she was also listed as the most respectful women’s leadership panel in 2018. She brings 20+ years of marketing and business development experiences in leading global IT firms, including Red Hat, Amazon Web Services, Samsung Electronics, and Sun Microsystems. Her specialty also includes building and scaling international distributed teams with diverse background and marketing talent development as well as hands-on coaching and mentoring. She graduated from University of California, Irvine with Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science.
