Equity Action Partners LLC is a public affairs firm specializing in community engagement, policy & legislative analysis, government relations and strategic communications in the public service and social justice sector.I work with a variety of clients and coalitions on strategic planning, grassroots communications, community engagement, and policy development and implementation. Serve as the education policy lead for the Stand Oregon team to develop relevant legislative and policy proposals and engage in direct advocacy and lobbying with Oregon elected and appointed officials. Participate as a member of the communications and organizing teams to ensure policy, research and best practice information flows to our constituents in a timely and easily consumable manner.

As Ed Trust’s assistant field director, Iris oversees the organization’s field and outreach operations by engaging with state-based education reform organizations, civil rights organizations, and state policymakers.
