Currently, as Digital Marketing Executive at Furniture Row (FR), I am overseeing/managing FR's in-house paid interactive media plan. My primary focus is driving measurable results through digital marketing strategies and ensuring the cohesiveness of the program across all interactive avenues.Prior to Furniture Row, I worked at ReachLocal for close to 8 years on the national division. I partnered with corporate and franchise organizations in developing local/national marketing programs. As RL's suite of products serves both corporate and SMBs marketing strategies, my time there was incredibly educational in both the origins of digital media and its marketing applications. Early in my career, I worked for a direct marketing company in Austin, TX, managing their TV and interactive media buys. Amazing Goods served as an early introduction to evaluating product COGS and its associated cost per conversion against traditional and interactive media strategies. Before this opportunity, I joined the Austin American Statesman team in their advertising division for both the main newspapers and ¡ahora sí!.In 2004, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Texas @ Austin, followed by a Master of Arts in Advertising Degree with a concentration in Account Planning in 2005.Overall, throughout my employment opportunities, I have gained a thorough understanding of the interactive marketing landscape and developed the skills/experience needed to align media opportunities with clients’ needs.
