I am the buyer for ladies footwear in Mc Elhinneys Department store, and also have the role of inventory manager. In my buying role I have sole responsibility for the ladies footwear buying and pricing. I have been with the company 20 years and I have been buying for almost 18 of them. I really enjoy this position as every day is different you never get board and you are always learning new things and meeting new people. I am hard working and love to have fun and enjoy my work. As inventory manager my key role here is to ensure that stock that is recorded on our Epos system is correct. I achieve this by partial stock takes, the main value of this is to ensure a good fulfilment in our online business amongst other things.
