Over 30 years'​ experience in the counseling/social work area in training and assisting adults to gain self-sufficiency and to make positive changes in their lives. The last ten years have been dedicated to educating abortion-minded men and women on the risks of abortion and fetal development. Alternatives to abortion are presented and should the client decide to parent, A Woman's Haven (AWH) will assess the client's situation and assist her with community resources, referrals, material assistance, higher education, job skills training and prescribed follow-up throughout the pregnancy until the baby reaches one year of age. Our vision of opening an office within walking distance of each abortion clinic in San Antonio has come to fruition for one office on where abortion-minded women can walk across the street to receive educational and supportive services. Women have the "right to know" and make an informed decision prior to an abortion which will/could be life-changing.
