Als ski- en snowboardleraar werk ik met kinderen en volwassenen om hun vaardigheden op de piste te verbeteren. Ik werk vaak met kinderen (4+) om spanning en angst te verminderen en tegelijkertijd zelfvertrouwen op te bouwen door middel van speelse elementen in skilessen. Verder werk ik met jongeren en volwassenen met negatieve ervaringen of spanning en angst om hun zelfvertrouwen te herstellen en hun vaardigheden te verbeteren.As skiing and snowboard instructor I work with children and adults to improve their skills on the slope. I frequently work with children (4+), working to decrease fear and anxiety while building confidence, through playful elements in ski lessons. Furthermore, I work with youth and adults with adverse experiences or anxiety and fear to rebuild their confidence and improve their skills.

Samen met het docententeam ontwikkelde ik een curriculumontwerp voor de opleiding Game Developer, geïnspireerd door visies zoals die van Carol Dweck in haar boek Mindset (2017). Ik werkte met het docententeam om een curriculumontwerp te implementeren op basis van het Problem-Centered Curriculum Design. Onderzoek voor de ontwikkeling van dit curriculum was vooral gericht op projectmatig werken, flipped classroom-modellen, online lessen en het stimuleren van de eigen leerontwikkeling van studenten.Daarnaast heb ik een zelfstudiemodule ontwikkeld die studenten leert over 3D Game Art. Deze module is gebruikt zowel online materiaal zoals videotutorials en live lessen om ruimte te geven aan specifieke behoeften van de studenten en hun leerontwikkeling.Together with the teaching team, I developed a curriculum design for the Game Developer course, inspired by visions like Carol Dweck's in her book Mindset (2017). I worked with the teacher team to implement a curriculum design based on the Problem-Centered Curriculum Design. Research conducted for the development of this curriculum was mostly focussed on project-based working, flipped classroom models, online classes and stimulating students own learning development.Additionally, I developed a self-teaching module that teaches students about 3D Game Art. This module strongly depends on online material such as video tutorials, and live classes to discuss the specific needs of the students on the course in terms of their learning development.

Tijdens mijn tijd op het ROC van Twente bij de opleiding Game Developer heb ik mij verdiept in de pedagogische en didactische kunsten op het gebied van lesgeven. Naast het overdragen van kennis, heeft deze specifieke groep studenten mijn aandacht getrokken naar de sociale aspecten van het lesgeven, zoals de ontwikkeling van studenten en het welzijn van studenten.During my time at the ROC of Twente at the Game Developer course, I immersed myself in the pedagogical and didactic arts in the field of teaching. In addition to imparting knowledge, this particular group of students has drawn my attention to social aspects of teaching such as student development and student wellbeing.

De studentleden binnen de CMR op Saxion, zijn een groep enthousiaste en gedreven studenten die graag een extra bijdrage willen leveren aan het onderwijs binnen Saxion. De wettelijke plichten die wij hadden als CMR lid maakt dat wij ons zeer verantwoordelijk voelden om een bijdrage te leveren aan het op evenwichtige wijze afwegen van belangen bij de besluitvorming binnen Saxion. Wij hadden invloed op het te voeren beleid en op het totale strategische beleid van Saxion. De verantwoordelijkheid die wij voelden is ook een uitkomst van het vertrouwen tussen de CMR en onze overlegpartners, waaronder het CvB.Als studentlid, was ik een aanspreekpunt in mijn (leer)omgeving. Mijn medestudenten en docenten konden bij ons terecht voor vragen en informatie over besluitvorming en andere stukken die wij binnen de CMR behandelden. Door onze actieve houding konden wij de CMR voorzien van informatie over actuele onderwerpen op de (werk)vloer.The student members within the Central Participation Council (CMR) at Saxion are a group of enthusiastic and driven students who aspire to make an extra contribution to education within Saxion. The legal obligations that I had as a CMR member provided the responsibility to contribute to a balanced weighing of interests in decision-making within Saxion. The responsibility results from the trust between the CMR and our consultation partners, including the Executive Board. As a member, I influenced the general policy that Saxion pursues as well as the strategic policy. As a student member, I was a central contact in my (learning) environment. My fellow students and teachers could contact me for questions and information about decision-making and other cases that the CMR dealt with. Thanks to an active attitude, other student members and me could provide the CMR with information of current topics on the (work) floor.Besides the CMR, I was also actively involved in the Academic Council (AR) of the Academy of Creative Technology (ACT).

Assistent-docent 3D-modellering in Autodesk Maya en Unity 3D. Als ouderejaarsstudent deelde ik mijn kennis met eerste- en tweedejaarsstudenten door wekelijkse lessen en workshops te geven. Daarnaast kreeg ik de verantwoordelijkheid om lessen te verbeteren.Assistant teacher in 3D modelling in Autodesk Maya and Unity 3D. As a senior student, I shared my knowledge with first and second-year students by hosting weekly classes and workshops. In addition, I was given the opportunity and responsibility to improve lessons.

Tijdens dit project hebben mijn team en ik onderzoek gedaan naar innovatieve manieren van actief sporten in een virtual reality-omgeving. We werkten samen met Roessingh Research and Development om deze kennis toe te passen bij de revalidatie van patiënten met motorische beperkingen.During this half-year project, my team and I worked on researching innovative ways of active exercising in a virtual reality environment. We worked together with Roessingh Research and Development to apply this knowledge to the rehabilitation of patients suffering from impairment of their motor systems.
